I don't think I can recommend #BlueSky to people, as I do not fully understand its censorship.

Here's a thread that has replies, but they are invisible to anyone trying to read it.

It seems only self-hosted #Fediverse servers can act a real Twitter alternative.

It seems if either person blocks the other, then those posts and interactions are suddenly hidden from everyone.

@taoeffect I mean, I can see that thread on your account. It makes sense that the post owner can remove answers below their own. Bluesky users in general seem pretty happy about the level of moderation that allows them to enact. The responder can still quote post to resurface their answer if they want to have it on their feed.

I can see not liking that, but it doesn't seem like a dealbreaker to me.
