Ben LeverIt's 7.28 on a Friday night. All the extra short-run Melton services have stopped, so there's just one train every 40 mins that needs to cope with all the passengers for the western suburbs, as well as those for western Victoria.
V/Line has scheduled the train to run with only three carriages.
It's standing room only til we reach Cobblebank, which since the train is late, is about 40 minutes into the journey.
Oh and just checking the V/Line app, it seems the 8.08 train was cancelled! Good luck to those trying to squeeze onto the 8.48, which is also scheduled with three carriages.
