I finally found enough motivation and inspiration to rework my Anki cards (thanks @apschmidt !)

In the end, I decided to completely change the layout, so I had no choice but to add a field. This means I must update all my 500 notes, but it’s worth it. I really love the result, I’ve never had so neat Anki cards before! (the font I use is Klee One).

@Inhae That looks nice! How do you change the font (on the iOS version)?

Edit: After clicking every button I could find I stumbled on the “Tool” header, which does not look like a button but leads to the “Card Template” options. I assume you edit the HTML there to change the font?

@noir
I couldn’t find a way to add a font from ipad (I’m using AnkiMobile app), so I logged in on a PC and installed the font from there following the steps described in Anki manual. Then just synchronise and it works. Maybe there’s a way to access the folder from mobile, but I couldn’t find it.

Anki's user manual. Anki is a flashcard program that makes learning easier.

@Inhae I was wondering about that part now. Thanks :)
@noir
I just saw your edit. Yes, “card template” is where you can change the font (in the CSS part). The problem is to install the new font in the media folder, I don’t think it’s possible from mobile, but if you have a computer there’s no problem.

@Inhae I’ll have to wait until I get back to my computer. Currently only have my phone and iPad at hand.

I tried changing the font and was kind of hoping it would just download it itself, but that was too much to hope for. 😅

@noir
Yeah the app has very limited functions, even adding a new field is impossible on mobile and needs a computer (at least as far as I know).
@Inhae I agree. The Anki app does its job somewhat, but that’s about it.
