Idiot/SavantTonight, in #TheWellOfAllFear : after three sessions of idle regency chitchat, a ball, several walks, and anachronist croquet, we finally begin the adventure!
Everyone thinks S.D. did it, just because he is creepy and reads Byron.
Our characters are clearly from the Catherine Morland school, and read Too many Gothic Novels.
Anyway: starting before the adventure has given character development and depth to some of the NPCs, as well as a more natural way of uncovering some of the backstory. I'm enjoying it imensely. Though my group is very much on the "Regency" end of #RegencyCthulhu
