Ask me anything about my DND campaign and I'll make it helping me with world building or I'll tell you

@catguy

How would you describe the deities and religions in your world?

@scribe_thorium There are 8 gods that do occasionally walk among people. All of the gods govern a select type of act. The gods govern loyalty, dissent, power, sympathy, time, present, ruin and preservation. All of the gods have a opposite counterpart.

To be honest that is all i have so far also sorry for the slow respons shit hit the fan on my end

@catguy
They look cool! I always find it interesting when deities represent broad concepts, it leaves room for nuances and levels of religious intensity.
No worries for the delay, you don't owe me a quick answer :)
@scribe_thorium Thanks im not going to lie I am stealing this idea from brandon sandersons shards.
@catguy
That's called inspiration, the deities of my homebrew come from a card game :) Ascension, if it rings a bell.
@scribe_thorium Oh neat never heard of the game
@catguy
Here's a glimpse of the aesthetics.
@catguy
Very inspirational to me ^^
@scribe_thorium Does it have any attached story?
@catguy
It is very thinly scattered across the physical rulebooks of each extension and on many cards, in the bottom section. AFAIK there's no lore or story compilation.
@scribe_thorium Rip I like just to read the lore on games
@catguy
If I happen to find something akin to a lore summary (or to write one, who knows), I'll let you know!
