@Cognessence I’m up at my family’s lake house for a few days and I was going to bring up my Squier Vi and noodle a bit. But I also brought 3 books. Finished one last night and now I’m on book 2. Also the couch is comfy. And I bought donuts. But maybe music tonight!

What book did you just finish, and what are you moving on to now?
I’m in the South of France, mainly reading myself. Still reading ‘Middlemarch’, which makes me realise I want to be / am practically a Victorian. But the very English book is in stark contrast to the variable, dramatic weather and Mediterranean-like scenes I currently inhabit.

@Cognessence lol I’m embarrassed after you wrote Middlemarch because I’m reading horror novels. Night of The Mannequins by Stephen Graham Jones. Now reading The Ruins by Scott Smith. Later I will make a fire and clean my laptop screen!🤣
@Cognessence those pictures are amazing! We had our friend Inga from Iceland over this past week & she regaled us with stories of her recent trip to Kenya with her family. She’d been to many places I’ve seen on webcams. Made me realize that I’ve not traveled as much as I’d like. Must change that

I always saw you as a traveller. I tend to just go when and where I’m invited. I hate spending money, though, and then feel stupid when I do all the travel cheap and everything is delayed. :D
