redstrateI feel vindicated seeing people complain that GTA V no longer works on Linux. I also find it to be a little annoying because this happens to a lot of people regardless of Linux - ever since my Rockstar account was hacked (and they decided not to fix it) it's always been unplayable for me. A game I paid for that I can no longer legitimately access.
For those not aware, you additionally need to activate their games in their launcher (LOL) even while playing on Steam. And it’s not optional, the game will refuse to boot unless you login. Hilarity ensues when that system fails in legitimate scenarios!
Jade D.@redstrate Everytime there's a game update I have to rollback my version so I can play LukasRossVRmod on Windows, I'd assume there's a similar process for Linux? Anyhow, the Flatscreen2VR people on Discord innovate on GTA5 mod support, it's worth a look.
