Caught it with 11km left (which is an overestimate) and luckily there was no issue with the only charger in range. Phew.
I'm going to need a car with a bigger battery than 23kWh...
Ben Jackson@davep Rookie numbers! We drove back to Calais this summer and due to refuelling (Petrol) too early on the trip up from south of France, then missing a garage found ourselves with 5 miles remaining in the tank and just one final garage in the vicinity, on a Sunday evening.
I was very relieved to be able to fill the tank.
Not sure I'm ready to run the electric car gauntlet yet
@benjackson Most electric cars are fine. I've got an early model Zoe that will do 100km on a *good* day.
@davep yeah, no doubt we'll go full electric eventually
