@flenhah Google's tutorializing everything drives me absolutely batshit insane. And now Google Photos constantly badgers me to turn on photo backups even though I use Nextcloud 
Like, I can't dismiss the popup until I actively flip a toggle and say no thanks. And I can't just switch to a different photos app because Google Photos is the only one that works with the camera app. It's soooooooo bad.

Kai for now (iso new furry name...)@Rusty @flenhah I was driving yesterday, and I held down my voice command button on my steering wheel to activate Google Assistant via Android Auto. It answered my query, and added "By the way, next time, hold down the voice command button to activate Google Assistant"

wish there was a toggle with Assistant to never give tips. Google Home interjects with basic stuff all the time too -_-
VanillaSkunk@Rusty I thought it was counter intuitive that I have to stop using my smarthome to enable Gemini. That really does not work for me.

@Rusty It isn't popping up for me anymore but when "Hey Google" had a Try Gemini popup, I clicked it, and it warned me that I will be unable to use this voice assistant to control my Google Home.
