@britown I'm working, admittedly very intermittently, on The Nadir, a Metroidvania about hitting rock bottom.

It's very slow going as I'm still learning art and animation, and prototyping mechanics, but I have a draft soundtrack for it, my first real complete musical endeavor:

@britown Thank you!!! I just got the hang of disembodied slashing animations recently so I'm like, making progress on various fronts! hahaha

People's experiences seem to vary a lot by instance so I can't speak for the entire fediverse but I've honestly had such a great positive experience with the folks here!

@britown I'm glad to hear it! I ran an instance for a couple of years, from 2018 to 2020, and I shut it down because I was unhappy running an instance and with my overall experience with other instances, but that was a long time ago.
