An alleged scammer has been arrested under suspicion that he used AI to create a wild number of fake bands — and fake streams to with them.

@nixCraft I'd be curious to know if there's precedent for this. Certainly the actions laid out in the accusation are scummy, but I have no idea how they would fit the descriptions of wire fraud or money laundering.
