The Teatro Dal Verme is a theatre in Milan, Italy that was completed in 1872. Originally it was an opera house that could seat 3,000 it now seats a combined total of 1,836 in its 4 performance spaces. It sustained significant damage during WWII air raids and was rebuilt in the late 1940s where it was briefly used as a post-war political meeting hall before becoming a performance space again.

The Liverpool Philharmonic Hall is located in Liverpool, England and was originally completed in 1849, destroyed due to a fire in 1933, rebuilt and reopened in 1939. A National Heritage Listed building, it can seat nearly 2,000 in its main hall and hosts over 250 events a year. It features a fully restored, 3-manual Rushworth & Dreaper pipe organ that is behind decorative walls on the sides of the orchestra platform.

Bartók Béla National Concert Hall is part of the Arts Complex known as The Müpa Budapest (formerly The Palace of Arts AKA Művészetek Palotája) located in in Ferencváros, Budapest, Hungary. It was opened in 2005 and can seat 1,699. It features one of the largest concert pipe organs in the world. A collaboration between Pécsi Orgonaépítő Manufaktúra and Mühleisen Orgelbau Stuttgart, it has 5 manuals, 92 registers and consists of 6,804 tin and/or reed pipes😍

Rochdale Town Hall is a Victorian era municipal building in Manchester, England that was completed in late 1870, was partially destroyed in 1883, fully restored by1890 and unfortunately also caught the eye of H*tler sometime in the 1930s and he planned to have it disseminated and then later RE-assembled brick-by-brick in Germany had they won WWII. More importantly, It features a 3,018 pipe J.J Binns built pipe organ that is considered to be one of the organ builder’s finest works😍

Usher Hall AKA Talla Usher is a concert hall in Edinburgh, Scotland that was completed in 1914 and can seat 2,200. It features a fully restored Norman & Beard built pipe organ that has one of the most intricate internal system of pneumatics that the restorationists (from the famed Harrison & Harrison) had ever seen-including some pieces that were nearly 9ft tall!

Hong Kong City Hall is an International style municipal building in Hong Kong that was completed in 1962. Of the manual municipal services available in the building it has a concert hall that can seat 1,430 and that regularly hosts performances. It was declared a national monument of Hong Kong in 2022.

Rachmaninov Concert Hall of the Moscow Conservatory is located on the the premises of Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (est. 1866) in Moscow, Russia. Christened around 1890, it’s the oldest hall at the conservatory, was fully restored in 2014 and can seat about 150.

Despite sustaining periodic damage and neglect due to various political tensions, it’s been repeatedly restored to its late 19th century glory.

Seiji Ozawa Hall at Tanglewood is a concert hall in Lennox, Massachusetts that was built in 1994. It can seat 1,200 inside and is equipped with a barn door at the rear of the hall that can be opened up to the lawn outside for an additional (approx.) 2,000 more listeners! It is considered one of the best concert halls in the USA.

The Banqueting House is a neoclassical style palace located in Whitehall, Central London, England. Thanks to literal bone breaking work of nearly 400 men (2 of whom broke their legs!) it was completed in 1622 and as of the 1698 fire it’s the last surviving building from The Whitehall Palace. It’s known for its gorgeous, 225 sq m ceiling that was designed and painted by Flemish artist and diplomat Sir Peter Paul Rubens and for being the site of the execution of Charles I in 1649.

Mazā ģilde AKA Small Guild, Riga is a Tudor Neo-Gothic building in Riga, Latvia that was opened in 1866. Originally a home for The Riga Brotherhood of the Holy Spirit it later became the community site for the local merchant guild before becoming an arts space by the mid-1860s. It features 3 theaters that can seat a combined total of 560 people.

Martin’s Church AKA The Martinikerk is the oldest church in Groningen, Netherlands and was established in 1225. More importantly, its west gallery features the largest, most famous baroque pipe organ in Europe: The restored to 1740 standards 52 stop, 81 rank Arp-Schnitger Pipe Organ complete with the world’s only original, 32ft tall, Present pipes which are dated from around 1690!😍

St. Ludgeri is a Gothic style Catholic church in Münster, Germany that was established in late 1100s. It’s one of the oldest religious buildings in northwestern Germany. It’s home to beautiful stain glass windows and more importantly: The Organ of St. Ludgeri😍 an internationally renowned pipe organ that was built in the late 1600s by Arp-Schnitger complete with 46 stops, 76 ranks and comprised over 3,110 pipes. It is the second largest surviving Schnitger Pipe Organ in Germany!

Originally the home of the West London Mission of the Methodist Church, it became one of the most important recording venues for classical music the world over. The Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest is an Art Nouveau style music school in Budapest, Hungary that is the only university of music in the world founded by Franz Liszt. It was founded in 1875 and is also home to The Liszt Ferenc Memorial Museum. More importantly, it features a fully restored, four-manual, 74-stop pipe organ that weighs and estimated 23 tons😍

Gościkowo-Paradyż is a monastery complex in Gościkowo, Poland that was established in 1230. After the order was disbanded in 1810 it became an educational building for a local diocese seminary. Originally on 16,000 hectares (61 square MILES!) of land by the post WWII era it had been developed and reshaped to it’s current day size. It features an incredibly ornate altarpiece in the chapel.

Home for the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra is Gewandhaus, which is located in Leipzig, Germany. The third/current day incarnation of The Gewandhaus can seat 1,900 and was opened in 1981. Previous Gewandhauses were established in 1781 and 1884, respectively, and all were/are considered to have exquisite acoustics. Currently it is home to a fully restored, 91 stop Schuke pipe organ with 6,845 pipes
