Since Jill Stein only shows up every 4 years I wanted to quickly remind everyone, not just of this photo, but how notoriously difficult to it is to have access to war criminal Vladimir Putin, let alone *a seat at a table with him*. Backing Jill Stein is willful ignorance.

I suspect Jill Stein is showing up regularly but the only time the media pays attention is every 4 years.

I also wonder if you can call an electoral system democratic if it forces you to choose between two parties or be content to have your vote never elect anyone.

@the5thColumnist @skykiss she is not, you need to recalibrate your suspicions. She lives (or lived, not sure about right now) one town over from us. As far as I can tell, she has less elected political experience than I do -- she was a town meeting member in Lexington for four years, in our town I've been a town meeting member longer than that. Town meeting is small beer; mostly we rubber-stamp procedural stuff and proposals presented by the select board and other more focused committees.
