Thats something I always found cool about reddit, subs almost always having relevant, related, or “friend” subreddits in their sidebars
I think webrings are bigger than ever right now, they’re in a pretty massive rennaisance
I guess ‘cool’ depends on personal interest and circumstances.
A house move likely prevents running our Aussie Halloween this year, after being featured on State TV news last year, but I would like to share past family/friends efforts to establish a fun spooky celebration, in circumstances where locally there is not an established tradition, originating because my daughter in-law grew up in North Carolina and she and my eldest son moved here at the height of the pandemic, so I have adopted Halloween as a way to incorporate her fond childhood memories into our local family and local Aussie community traditions, with the help of family members and many talented friends: scarymandercove.au
That is cool! Right on. It’s all about making good memories and being able to enjoy the good memories and share them, that’s pretty awesome. Definitely qualifies as cool in my books, thanks!

Put on some headphones and de-stress to a seamlessly looped track of walking in the rain. No footsteps, music, etc. Just a stereo mic moving through an environment capturing exquisite aural details.
Interstellar_1Gemini is pretty neat. Is like an alternative internet, powered by only text and basic formatting. There’s lots of small blogs and webrings on there.

As someone with vision issues? I rather enjoy the protocol for putting display under my control to maximize readability. As someone with ADD I enjoy it for stripping out all the distractions, and as someone who has a passing interest in networking I adore the ‘one request, one response’ ethos of the protocol.
