clairikine@victorgijsbers there’s that, and the political and media landscape is not helping, but I honestly think the simplest explanation is that he’s on an egotistical power trip and all his decisionmaking comes from there. Including thinking that he can make a deal with them and come out unscathed. Same reason he dissolved parliament
