I've been keeping this under wraps but... I've been writing a book about academics engaging in #climate justice activism: What is driving scientists to break the law? What arguments are they using to step out of their conventional academic roles? How are they mobilizing in different countries?

It will be out next year through UC Press but if you want to find out more, I will be talking about it at the #Degrowth Festival, Sep 22nd in #Copenhagen: https://kulturhusetislandsbrygge.kk.dk/program/degrowth-festival-2024

Hello... sorry to disturb you, but we'd be interested to know what place improvisation may hold in activism, for you and other scientists...? Thank you for your work,

@FerRacimo @ScientistRebellion When something drives the regular people (i.e. not career criminals) to break the law, it's usually the utter craziness of that so-called law.
@FerRacimo @ScientistRebellion I’m interested. Please let us know when the book is available.
