Anthropy@nixCraft a lot of problems in science would be explained by us living in some device that has limits to which it can simulate at. We have an absolute speed of light (and time slows down if you try go past it!), particle/wave duality based on observation, seemingly random behavior when you go below certain sizes (planck length) as if there are floating point errors, and one could go on for a while.
Does that mean we live in a simulation? Nobody knows! It would be hard to scientifically confirm.
