Today's public-private partnership highway model has produced nightmare contracts that deliver triple digit rush hour tolls, perpetual traffic jams, and fabulous guaranteed profits for their investors.
And the public has lost its say on public roads to boot.
George@Flowermob Milton Friedman and Arnold Harberger were the ones that promoted that neoliberal economic program embraced by Reagan and Thatcher which f**d most of us into poverty. They are the same bunch that later spoke of trickle-down economics, which we know by experience is hogwash.
