On Sunday we made a day trip to Slovenia’s second city, Maribor. We’d hoped to have a quiet stroll along the Drava River. But it was Red Bull Flugtag day. Thousands and thousands of people lining bridges and the riverbanks to watch Monty Red Bull’s Flying Circus. I never realised how big this was. Quiet it isn’t.
