@anubiarts It might be worth mentioning that the mastodon.art moderators are quite bad and defederated from lots of instances where clients would be (including tech.lgbt, the instance I’m at) based on drama and lies, so artists are probably better off choosing a different instance!
Mastodon.social is a good place to start, but it’s far from being a great instance and the lack of an useful local timeline can make onboarding a lot harder
Unfortunately I don’t know of many artist-focused instances other than tiggi.es. Maybe we could recommend some good instances for artists too!
