Chaos@seanhood how do your parents take to home assistant?
I've been meaning to get them on predbat as they've got battery and panels are are sick of changing the time by hand.
My parents are savvy but not linux or text editing config file level.
@John my dad had RedHat Linux 6 installed on our home computer in the early 00’s and still runs Linux today. Rest of the family are comfortable with HA (more so these days as it got a whole lot easier than hand editing yaml).
