Wasn't exactly sure what it was b/c it was silhouetted against the sun most of the time. This was only my 2nd encounter w/ an osprey & in roughly the same location, the big pond at the #WaterWorksPrairiePark in Iowa City. Not a very good picture but serviceable so I think it qualifies for a birding notch. Fun to watch👍 . No dives but several hovers over the bluegill & bass that populate that pond.
