I’m really, really sad that the NYT is killing the Vertex puzzle this week. It’s a core part of my wind-down routine, and I’ve never found anything else like it. 😔

Taking suggestions for games that are:

- mindless and easy, more physical than mental
- not designed to get me hooked
- somewhat nice to look at
- don’t rely on hue discrimination (I keep my phone in greyscale at night)

@jpf interesting! Similar vibes to sudoku
@sasha yup! Just less mentally taxing and with a visual payoff at the end

@sasha it’s only on Apple Arcade, which probably makes this moot, but stitch. from Lykke Studios fulfills your requirements. It’s prettier in color, but it works just fine in grayscale.

Prune is a great one. Really pretty, and might fit the bill.

Noodles from Lummox Labs is also a pretty satisfying game, though perhaps not beautiful to look at.

Obviously I Love Hue is out of the question for grayscale, but if you ever play mobile games in color, highly recommend.
