Arrived at #MacherFestival with @LeoDJ, @codingHahn and a few others, let's see how this is gonna go. We already have a great power source
It's definitely not like the hacker events I know, there's way more "normal" people. But I've already seen some electric bobby cars :D

camping field at night :3

#MacherFestival

#MacherFestival

There's definitely more custom built / modified vehicles with combustion engines compared to hacker events. But also some electric ones :)

#MacherFestival

I hope I can get a slot for a bungee jump tomorrow if I go there as soon as the festival opens in the morning. There's also other activities like a forklift challenge or building and climbing a tower of stackable tool boxes. Hornbach also put a cool bar there.

#MacherFestival

They also had some skilled stunt drivers go crazy on the track.

#MacherFestival

The outdoor cinema is pretty bright. A minute after taking this photo, the stream died :D

#MacherFestival

Nice little light installation in the forest :3

#MacherFestival

Good morning fedi! A peacock butterfly decided to say hi

#MacherFestival

Also, no chance of getting a bungee jump slot today. I was there for opening, but people in front of me just ran there and the queue was already too long xD

#MacherFestival

One weird thing about this festival is the high number of obviously Christian attendees wearing shirts with Jesus slogans. They even sell those as merch. I think the organisers are religious. It also is apparent in the choice of music acts. But I don't care too much as long as they're not trying to actively convince me of anything.

#MacherFestival

They announced a water pistol fight in front of the main stage and a fire truck is suspiciously parked nearby. I think I know where this is going

#MacherFestival

Okay, maybe not, they even left just when they started the water fight, but apparently that was just a coincidence xD

#MacherFestival
