Serena is moving to @Ew, my mom thinks that one of the main reasons people transition, especially mtf is to "get an advantage" in sports. First of all, how many trans athletes are there? How often do they even win? And transitioning for sports being a primary reason? That's a shitton of effort just to "get an edge"

- And this is known because #mysogynist rules campaigned for by said reactionaries resulted in a lot of #BPoC cis*woman being forcibly categorized as *"men" by sports governing bodies for no reason but being above an arbitrarily made-up amount of #testosterone...
Not to mention coming out as #trans is more often than not career "suicide" if not social "suicide" by virtue of anti-trans #hatespeech being not just common but people getting basically #hatecrime'd more or less instantly more often than not.
- Sadly her example is more common than it should be and being such a bigot isn't penalized socioeconomically. Regardless I hope she'll deradicalize sooner than later with professional help.
