Pick 3 from this exceptional collection

Dead Kennedys - Fresh Fruit...
Minor Threat - Complete Discography
Ramones - Debut Album

#punk #punks #punkrock #oldschoolpunk #hardcorepunk #punkcassettes #punkcollection #history #punkrockhistory

@historyofpunkrock oof, hard choice! Wire is definitely on there for me, as is Iggy Pop... damn, after that I want like half that spread

@historyofpunkrock

Tough call, but (in no particular order)...

Milo Goes to College

Pink Flag

Group Sex

@historyofpunkrock Dang, many great albums there, but Germfree Adolescents, The Clash & Double Nickels are each sublime.

(Pains me not at least mention Inflammable Material & Singles Going Steady)

@historyofpunkrock Stiff Little Fingers, The Clash, The Sex Pistols
....plus Dead Boys
...and Undertones
@historyofpunkrock This is almost impossible, but if I go for the ones I listen to most often it'd be Ramones, Green Day and Descendents.

@historyofpunkrock
Stiff Little Fingers
Dead Kennedys
Minor Threat

Oh, now I can't get the train anymore.

@historyofpunkrock

Ramones - Ramones
Dead Kennedys - Fresh Fruit

because I'v been listening to them for over 30 years. And

X-Ray Spex - Germfree Adolescents

because I only discovered that album 3 years ago despite the band having been in my peripheral for over 30 years. Dismissed it then because it looked soft and poppy but the joke's on me -- it's an absolute banger and I am still making up for lost listening-time.

@historyofpunkrock

Iggy and the Stooges - Raw Power (please play „Gimme danger“ on my funeral)
X-RaySpex - Germfree Adolescents (Identityyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!)
The Crass - Penis Envy (coolest voice in Punkrock ever)

@historyofpunkrock
This is tough.
Double Nickels on the Dime is easy.
Pink Flag is easy.
But then?
Replacements "Let It Be" Oh! Not on the list!
Marquee Moon then.
@historyofpunkrock
The Clash
Dead Kennedys
Ramones

@historyofpunkrock Not even hesitating: Double Nickels on the Dime; Pink Flag; & Marquee Moon.

So much good stuff here, but those three have never gone out of circulation for me.

@historyofpunkrock
That's an easy one:

Ramones - Debut Album
Green Day - Dookie
Social Distortion - White Light White Heat White Trash

@historyofpunkrock that’s a solid choice!
To mix it up I’ll go with Undertones, Wire, and Circle Jerks.
Though even that leaves too many good choices behind. 😀

@historyofpunkrock I'm late to the party here, but:
• Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables
• The Clash
• White Light, White Heat, White Trash

The third one was a bit of a tossup, but "Don't Drag Me Down" is one of my favorite songs, so I had to give it to Social D.
