The CRT has launched a 10K crowdfunding campaign for the cleanup of the #Walsall canal a metal finishing company dumped a load of sodium cyanide into, and I think I speak for everyone when I ask why the fuck is #Anochrome itself not paying this??

Absolutely - surely 'the polluter pays'??

@afewbugs I guess they got bills to pay if they're leading the testing and decontamination effort and it's probably best a 3rd party is involved - they should 100% bill and, if needed, sue #Anochrome to get back the expenses and fees, and then re-use the recovered funds for future projects.

But why isn't the municipality or govt helping them in the interim?
