The project, part of a wider vision for improved public #transport, would operate along the A34 and A45 corridors linking #Walsall, #Birmingham and #Solihull. The report recommends approving £25.96m in funding, combining CRSTS and Department for Transport ZEBRA grants, and delegating contract authority. The preferred option offers strong strategic fit and value for money, with a positive benefit-cost ratio, improved accessibility, reduced emissions and faster journeys. Further work is required on the ticketing model. Sprint is expected to launch with franchised bus services from October 2027.
