I do find it kinda funny that #FreeBSD has a lot to offer that #OpenBSD doesn't, but using it on a modern laptop all but requires you to run an Alpine Linux VM, pass through your WiFi card, and then share the network connection with the host. It's so delightfully cursed. (Not that I got to experience it, since the install failed on my Ryzen-based Framework.)

Then OpenBSD says "yeah we ain't doing half that shit, but sure, we'll get you online." (Unless you're a ding-dong with an RZ616... like me.)

@nmott Haha, the #netbox is a workaround if you need the your wireless drivers to be speedy. Otherwise, the #FreeBSD #wireless drivers work just fine.

Also, there is the #FreeBSDFoundation is funding the further development of the native drivers:
