Seldom have I ever seen
An apple that is quite as green
As the one you offer me
You did not get that from a tree.
One green half it shines like lime
The other side is red as wine
It seems wet and freshly moistened
I think this apple might be poison.
Thank you for the offer, but
I'd much prefer to eat a nut
And I don't want to sleep just now
So bugger off, you silly cow.
