@Richard_Littler I remember some Channel 4 thing in the nineties or early noughties doing the '100 best albums as voted by the public' things. As they counted down from 100 there was basically no jazz at all until suddenly, somewhere in the top 10, up pops Kind of Blue, because of course it did.
Seems jazzers can't agree on anything except for the sheer brilliance of Kind of Blue.
