I'm deeply disappointed that I didn't get the job at Framework. If ever there was going to be a modern laptop maker that was going to let me design a Floppy Disk Module to slot in, it was them.

@foone if you produced a demo of having a floppy disk drive soldered directly onto the motheboard, i bet apple would go for it

@Viss @foone I'm still entertained by my terrible idea of a contactless floppy reader that uses a degauss discharge to (destructively) simultaneously read every bit. I mean, it makes no sense, but it would be fun to write it into a story.
