As we head into the new school year, if you're an intro genetics instructor and would like to share exams, slides, problem sets, activities, and other teaching materials, you're invited to join the Genetics Educators Exchange. Please request access here: https://forms.gle/535PnGhBbJU7igww5
Genetics Educators Exchange

Welcome to Genetics Educators Exchange. Running out of ideas for good questions on topics you've taught for a while? Written a great exam question that you're sad you can never use again? New instructor looking for examples of how others test genetics concepts? GEE is for you! This folder is a way for instructors to share slides, exams, problem sets, and other material from introductory genetics classes for undergraduates. Please enter your info below, including your preferred email address for Google Drive sharing, and I will invite you to the shared folder. Once added, you can access subfolders created by others and make a new subfolder with your own course materials (naming convention: "course number and institution - instructor"). By posting materials, you give permission for other members of GEE to borrow and modify your material for their own teaching. Sharing your own materials is not a condition of joining GEE, though of course I hope eventually members will choose to do so. Please do not share the folder with others and instead direct interested parties to this form since the goal is private sharing among instructors, and not wider release on the internet at large. With the Genetics Society of America Education Committee, we are planning to try to tag materials to make it easier to find things on a certain topic. Please bear with us as we get this going, and if you know of AI tools that would be particularly helpful, let us know! Questions? Email [email protected]

Long time GEE members may remember that the first E used to stand for Exam, but we've broadened our mandate thanks to some additional interest from members of the Genetics Society of America Education Committee.
