@EmpathicWorld @jeffjarvis If he actually has 3-5% of the vote in swing states, him both exiting the race and convincing all his followers to vote for his endorsed candidate (somewhat unlikely) could call the election.

So he's trying to sell the Presidency for a cushy job for himself, to either candidate if they'll buy it. It's absolutely scummy behavior, maybe illegal?, but also not necessarily a stupid choice for Trump or Harris if they think it'll win them the game.
