@dpiponi "Cited by: US20060056262A1 / Stmicroelectronics Sa / Serial memory comprising means for protecting an extended memory array during a write operation"

Yup, STMicro have a (wholly mundane) still-active patent that cites a patent for teaching people how to walk through walls.

I assume this is the result of a typo somewhere.

@dpiponi for a second I thought *Google* filed the patent
@billseitz If anyone at Google filed a patent like that it would have been the group I was in!
@dpiponi There's something to be appreciated for the American syncretism of chakra points disguised as vortexes and Enlightenment-era monastic miracles
@dpiponi Wait, this definitely happened to me once… I was in a room full of people having serious conversations, but when I started walking, a small but very audible fart squeezed out with each step I took. By chance, it must have been at the exact cadence and stride length in the formula, because the next thing I knew I was in an entirely different room! Instead of the serious crowd from before, this one was filled with people laughing, smirking, and looking at me horrified!

@dpiponi That wasn't filed on April 1. That is disappointing.
@kithrup I'd be disappointed if it was :)
