@ProPublica's remarkable scoop shows Project 2025 insiders' training videos. This is evil stuff, folks. https://www.propublica.org/article/inside-project-2025-secret-training-videos-trump-election

Highlighted by the news org is this doozy: "“If the American people elect a conservative president, his administration will have to eradicate climate change references from absolutely everywhere.”

It's a reminder that this election may decide whether the planet will support human civilization.

Inside Project 2025’s Secret Training Videos

“Eradicate climate change references”; only talk to conservative media; don’t leave a paper trail for watchdogs to discover. In a series of never-before-published videos, Project 2025 details how a second Trump administration would operate.

@dangillmor The way these Project 2025 folx talk about removing words and phrases they don't like from documents, web sites, and official publications reminds me of 1984 and Winston Smith's job at the Ministry of Truth to constantly correct old news stories to support the Party's dominance and superiority.

And wasn't Newspeak all about eliminating words from the English language?

Do these people realize they're self-satirizing? 🤦‍♂️

Standard pitch: hey, fellow Wikipedians, many #HeritageFoundation #Project2025 contributors, partners, allies - people and groups - to monitor, potential articles to update. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_2025 (Heck, wondering if there should be a Project 2025 resistance article.)

@dangillmor How is this any different from the Democrat's playbook?

@[email protected] @dangillmor No, the parties are not at all equivalent - not on climate change and not on many other things.

For example:

The Republican Party wants to kill me by making food labeling voluntary (Project 2025, Chapter 10, regarding the Department of Agriculture).

The Democratic Party does not.

Do not promote lethal false equivalencies.

@dangillmor @koen_hufkens Denying sunlight exists still doesn't protect you from sunburn. Those project 2025 conservatives are incredibly dumb people.
@dangillmor Showing how effective anti-masking has spread, it wouldn't shock me if they succeeded in that if they get power.
