Elon Musk keeps predicting civil war in the UK. That's nonsense, as we can see from the massive turnout of decent, peace-loving, tolerant citizens who stood against a tiny number of thuggish racists.

The reason Musk holds this belief is that he has completely surrounded himself on Twitter with people exactly like the racist hoodlums who have been terrorizing immigrants and asylum seekers. He's created his own not-so-little bubble of fashdom, and believes it represents a majority. He's wrong.

@bodhipaksa There will be no civil war. There *will be an uptick in right-wing terror, which I insist on calling #RadicalRepublicanTerror here in the US - waiting for the "good" Republicans to name and denounce it as such and counter the training and radicalization of their cohort. Still waiting...
@MaierAmsden Trump keeps hoping his people are going to turn violent en masse. He was obviously hoping for large disruptive crowds at his trials, but they failed to materialize. Instead there were just a few sad weirdoes. And yes, there will be stochastic right-wing terrorism, especially if he wins, because they'll be emboldened. If he loses there will be much less violence, because they'll be demoralized.
