Me popping in with another personal note: Final corrections on my next book are almost finished. The proofreader was amazing.

Dear proofreaders of the world: I love you. You spare writers embarassing mistakes.

Also . . .today my (brilliant) stepdaughter is taking the California Bar Exam with Covid and 101 fever.

I'm sure she'll pass. She's never failed anything in her life.

But for extra insurance, I did a dance to the Goddess of Bar Exams and offered sacrafices of dark chocolate.

For people asking, the bar administrators are following LA protocol. She is masking but they no longer isolate if someone is Covid positive.

She said she thinks she can sit off by herself.

@Teri_Kanefield That can't be easy. I had a very mild version of COVID but it turned my brain to mush. I never even had a fever.
