Stop being in denial of what we are dealing with here. This is a genocidal fascist regime that is comfortable throwing around Holocaust-level numbers of dead civilians.

@ayoub I sincerely believe that, at least implicitly, this represents a wide swath of the American perspective, also.

When you attempt to present the Palestinian case, even to supposed liberals, the response is, "Well, they can't allow the terrorists to persist."

In other words, despite the appalling destruction and ongoing sadism and suffering, in lieu of a 'better idea', the destruction of Hamas outweighs all other considerations.

The only reason why there is any debate whatsoever about whether or not the Holodomor or Bengal Famine are genocides is because it's not 100% clear if they were intentional or simply gross mismanagement.

There is no doubt that the famine in Gaza is not just intentional, but violently, brutally enforced. This is a textbook example of genocide.
