My exwife bought so much of this VTECH garbage for the kids. "Look its a computer they'll love it." "How about I just teach the kids to use one of our real computers?" "You're just a computer elitist, how about you lighten up."
Two months later the VTECH dies, the kids are bored of it (because they're so basic) and they're using my computer anyway. "Coulda used the $100 you spent on that walking e-waste for an upgrade to this. Just sayin."
