I’m honestly shaken at the number of infosec people, particularly women, who are endorsing and spouting Russian transphobic misinformation about Olympic athletes with added hateful TERF rhetoric. In public, right in front of queer and trans peers. Some I used to consider friends. We all see all of it. It’s absolute hell for trans community members. We need to be calling this crap out for what it is.

@hacks4pancakes Anti-trans mob-based hate has metastasized into a manic venomous disgust for anybody who doesn’t conform to traditional gender expectations.
Imane Khelif who is competing as a boxer in the Olympics was born female and is a woman. She is being attacked because she doesn’t look or act like what the gender conformist bigots thinks a woman should be.
This is what happens when people are taught to hate together as a group.
I really don’t like bullies.
