I’d love to run a poll and ask how many people have actually worked on a political campaign. Not posted about it but actually worked.

But I’m not sure people would answer it honestly.

Anyway, this is my regular reminder to do more than post- please sign up to volunteer, get involved and listen to people out in the real world, encourage people to vote and tell them why you do, volunteer to be a poll worker, help people register and get to the polls.

We all have to do some real work here.

@TonyStark
I did door knocking for the Warren campaign in LV which was a very eye-opening experience. It was women mostly who answered, and when I asked if they had decided who they were voting for, ~70% told me something akin to, "I'm not sure. My husband hasn't told me yet"

I did poll observer work in 2020 and 2022 and monitored the absentee vote counting in 2020 (where I learned how people in WitSec vote). I did poll observing in the primaries this year and will do so again in the general

@kims You’re awesome! Thanks for sharing that!

@kims Sorry about the answers there, though.

I just got a work, I don’t want to say colleague, but someone I deal with for work, to at least consider Harris. She’s very into women as leaders but has a Trumpy husband. She’s not happy with Vance and she watched clips from the NABJ snd made some comments to me. She’s also concerned about abortion rights. I know- where has she been but I start slow with them and sometimes they come along.
