@lovethisland Geeat photos of Wemyss Bay station. My first encounter with Calmac was similar. My parents would take us on the “boat train” from Singer station in Clydebank, to Craigendoran, where we would get on the Waverley. I can still smell the engine room, and feel the warmth sitting beside one of the funnels when it was chilly.

@chrysalis leaning back against the funnel was my favourite part. As well as the warmth you could feel the engines throbbing away.

@lovethisland Yes, best spot on the return sailing, right next to a funnel. I took this during the off-season at Pacific Quay.
