First leg: Trstená --> #Kralovany on this roaring diesel train, whose engine is on thirty minutes before departure. We'll follow the #Orava river.

It's really a #Railbus #Schienenbus. I like the overhead racks. They allow the interior to be perceived as very airy and spacious. You could hold a conference or teach a class in this space.

It's all very scenic, remote but also alive. People get on and off at every station. This rural line clearly serves the needs of local communities.

Arrived in #Kralovny, beautiful station hall. Train to #Trstená is turning back. #Ex606 #Tatran to #Bratislava is announced with 30min delay... I was planning on changing to a faster #IC, this will not be possible anymore. But #Tatran also has a restaurant car, so hopes are high I'll get something to eat.

Also I love the printed carriage position indicators. Childhood memories...
