Sometimes it's hard not to compare lengths.

I came across this photo of a #DB railbus with some tanker cars and a tiny Köff locomotive.

Makes me wonder if it's theoretically possible to use this consist (tanker cars filled with diesel) to do a continuous non-stop (and extremely uncomfortable) version of 'the' longest rail journey in the world*.

It's really a #Railbus #Schienenbus. I like the overhead racks. They allow the interior to be perceived as very airy and spacious. You could hold a conference or teach a class in this space.

Here's a rare sight: #SA108 #railbus on a side track near Miały station, waiting to depart on a technical run towards Poznań.

#PhotoAdvent2023 - Day 18

One of my favorite photos this year. ÖGEG ran their railbus with the newly painted 'Pflatsch' for a test drive, when I managed to get this shot.

An N gauge model of the VT 133 (later reclassed as VT 89.9) "Wismar railbus". These were nicknamed "Schweineschnäuzchen" (Pig's snout) for obvious reasons.
