Happy WWDC keynote day! Here's what I'm looking forward to the most this week from a work perspective:

1. On-device AI/LLMs. Private, local compute will be huge for privacy-first software like 1Password which cannot responsibly use services like ChatGPT.
2. Improvements to Safari, WebKit, extensions, and AutoFill APIs.
3. Signs of Apple's continued investment into credential management, especially passkeys. (Yes, even if they release their own app!)

@mitchchn Assuming 1. happens and Apple essentially releases „on-device ChatGPT+APIs“, what would 1PW use that for?
@daniel Assuming it can be done entirely on-device (need to watch some sessions) I like the UX promised by app intents and Apple Intelligence. I'd like to be able to create logins and perform 1Password actions in other apps.

@mitchchn Hope they will talk more about this, because it’s entirely unclear to me what happens on device and what does not.

Unrelated, but it’s a bit concerning that I can’t find any information on being able to opt-out of the cloud part …
