My family has cooked most of their meals in a pressure cooker for my entire life, and I still have absolutely no idea how the fuck you're supposed to know when it's done. Like what the fuck how does anyone do this???
@OpenComputeDesign depends on the kind of pressure cooker you have i guess but we measure it by the number of whistles it makes. 2 whistles for rice, 3 for lentils, 4 for beans and some meats and so on.

@vikriti @OpenComputeDesign I haven't used pressure cookers, but I can usually smell when the food is done. Though color and structure can help, which works when you can easily inspect the food.

I usually use a timer, so I don't have to rely too much on anything else. With ADHD that's usually better anyway as there's always risk that I get preoccupied with something else.
