@Vel Sadly, this is a common fantasy in the US -- especially in Texas. Ask poor @AugieDeer sometime about the religious bullshit he was put through as a kid. He was literally taught again and again that someday, somewhere a person would put a gun to his head and make him disavow Jesus.

@Vel @artair I mean, we had religious haunted houses around Halloween based on sinning (hell houses), religious conversion camp after I was outed, laying on of hands and speaking in tongues.... Bible quizzing after school and church three times a week... While drilling into our heads that Armageddon was coming soon and we needed to repent everyday. Not being allowed to listen to secular music or dancing...women not being allowed to wear pants (only dresses). Kneeling in prayer to ask for forgiveness in stress positions....
