Donovan Street Press Inc.Remember Relic from The Beachcombers? His full name was Stafford Taffy "Relic" Phillips, pictured here on his boat the High Baller II. Relic was played by Canadian actor Robert Clothier, a pilot with 408 Goose Squadron of the RCAF who flew many missions during the second world war. He was also an accomplished artist, sculptor and stage actor.
Clothier was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross on December 5, 1944.
