Central station - Malmö, Sweden

When I first set foot in Malmö, I was drawn to the city's charm. Malmö Central Station, in particular, captivated me with its unique blend of history and modernity. It was more than just a train station; it symbolised my connection with Malmö.

I love that brick-only style (and the orange colour) because it is beautiful and simple. This architectural style, Brick Gothic or Baltic Gothic, originated in the Baltic Sea region and has influenced Nordic buildings for centuries. Its influence can be seen in the design of Malmö Central Station and many other structures across the Nordics.

But it was a bit different in this case. I fell in love…not even with this one building, but with Malmö. The station's bustling atmosphere, the friendly locals, and the sense of history permeating the air all contributed to my growing affection for this city.

Yes, maybe it was because it was a beautiful sunny day. The azure sky was without any sign of clouds over my head. There were no tourists around, and I wasn't in a rush. Since that day, I have been to Malmö several times, but I am still exploring beautiful new places there.
